I coach high performing leaders who want to enhance their ability to manage the human side of work.

What kind of coaching do you do?

I coach leaders on topics such as:

  • Leading change

  • Leadership presence

  • Building high performance teams

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Interpersonal relationships and conflict management

How does coaching work?

Each coaching partnership is unique, but the process typially involves the following:

“Chemistry” meeting - Before we start, we’ll have a conversation to explore whether we’re a good match. For coaching to work, there has to be trust and rapport.

Goal setting - Through a combination of conversation, assessments, and input from key colleagues, we will establish clear goals and desired outcomes for our work together.

Skills and behavior practice - This is the “guts” of the coaching process where we will use dialogue, role plays, and skills practice to help you improve in your target areas. In between sessions, you will typically have assignments such as reading books/articles, applying the skills we’re practicing to real life scenarios, and refelctng on what went well and how it could have gone even better.

Sustainability planning - As we begin to wrap up the process, we’ll talk about steps you can take to sustain your progress and continue your growth.

“It was my great fortune to receive Executive Leadership Coaching from Amy. I had been with (Company) for 12 years. I was a Vice President in our (Division) organization when our company hired a new CEO. He brought with him a new vision for (Company). I was having difficulty communicating in an effective way to demonstrate my abilities as a leader and value to our company. Amy was able to quickly identify some areas of opportunity for improvement. She provided the guidance and tools that made me a more effective communicator and leader. As a result I was offered a (promotion to lead) the largest business transformation project in our company’s history.

Amy demonstrated great competence in her role as a leadership coach and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Amy as a leadership coach.”
