Want to know the “secret sauce” of Leadership?

The real secret is that it’s no secret at all. As Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, authors of the best-selling book The Leadership Challenge, say, “Leadership is not a place, it’s not a gene, and it’s not a secret code that can’t be deciphered by ordinary people. The truth is that leadership is an observable set of skills and abilities.”

Over 35 years of continuous, rigorous, global research has proven that when leaders are performing at their best, they display five core practices. The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® are listed below.

How can this help develop leaders?

This powerful research forms the foundation of a unique learning experience called The Leadership Challenge® Workshop. It is a highly engaging, practical session fueled by 360-degree feedback for participants via The Leadership Practices Inventory® (check out this sample report). Participants leave the workshop with several concrete outcomes including:

·      Tailored insights regarding their strengths and development needs

·      An action plan for a current leadership challenge they are working on

·      A keen understanding of the leadership behaviors that drive exemplary performance and employee engagement

·      A draft vision message for their organization

·      Awareness of the characteristics people look for in leaders they would willingly follow

I am a Certified Master level facilitator of this body of work, a designation earned after demonstration of expertise in the content and advanced facilitation skills.
